Question What are the differences between a 94 Prizm & 94 Corolla??

Other than the obvious Front Grille and taillights... What else is different?

I am looking at my 4AGZE AE101 Halfcut and it has a ton of different things on the dash that are different than on my 94 Prizm.

I do understand they are also backwards from one another but I thought maybe there could be parts that would swap.

So this got me to wondering what were the difference between the US Corolla and Prizm of the 93-97 models?

I have never seen the two of them side by side. Either in pieces or in trashed out condition.

Thanks

There are practically no differences between the USDM Prizm and Corolla. I believe the dash layout may be a little different, then you got the grille, bumper ant tail lights. Other than that - they are identical.

Same as here with the Holden Nova. Just a few cosmetic things...

With the Half-cut, the reason why its so different is because its made for the JDM. It's different to practically anything out there. Even if it is the same year... I had the same problem when i got my half cut. But both mine and the half-cut being RHD - I just made custom mounts and fitted the dash

As I found out upon ordering Corolla mirrors, the mirrors are different. The dash is setup very different. The gauge clusters are not the same at all. Seats and door panels are the same however as far as I can tell. Guy at work has a 95 Corolla, and my Prizm is a 93. It is only cosmetic stuff however. Headlights and corner lamps too.

Simple. Any engine or car made in NA is made specifically for LHD. Any car made outside of the USA is made on the RHD rigs and bits for LHD are suited to that - Dashboard, Throttle cable etc...

The halfcut you have is an AE101 Coupe.. not an AE102 sedan, if you look at an AE92 coupe or sedan, you'll notice that they're also different. Coupes and sedans are almost always different cars.

I notice the plastic grill for the front of the '90 Corolla won't fit my '90 Prizm. The rear window trim is different.

Apparently not enough! I say this because my favorite pick-a-part yard that so neatly has all their Camrys and Corollas in one section also has Geo Prisms mixed in! Some of them fool me. They look like a Corolla in a way. But I would think they would have them in the Chevy import section.
