AE92 AE92 Parts

hey, can someone tell me where i can get parts for my 90' corolla dx 4dr online? i specifically need body parts (lh fender, headlight, 2 corner lights and that thin metal piece that goes underneath the grill in front). i could also use some performance parts. i live in tucson, az. and i'm having trouble finding used parts, and there aren't any places that sell new parts here. thanx for the help.

Make a run to the wrecking yards in San Diego County. Call ahead. Look on the Internet. Bring your tools. it is very very hot here, get a motel with good A/C to rest in between your searches.

Ok ... being that I am in the middle of a teardown and rebuild.

What brands of the following would you or your dealership reccomend for a 4agze. (part numbers would also be cool)

Any other personal opinions are also welcome of course

Head Gasket set

Rings

Bearings

Main seals

Performance clutch

Plug wires

Aftermarket oversized crank pulley

Thanks.

We arent a toyota dealership. We sell parts that are in most cases, non OEM brand parts. We basically carry two kinds, "cheaper" and "expensive" parts. Whilst the cheaper ones are more directed to the average consumer in pricing, the quality at times isnt the best. Mostly the parts come from italy/china... Though they still are within ISO norms.
The pricier parts are brand name parts, Ferodo, TRW, even some OEM toyota.
However, lots of the headgaskets and seals are very close to the stuff you get from toyota, so chances are even though its OEM branded it comes from the same factory, you just get "OEM pricing" with it.
Plus we have our own parts numbering so wouldnt do much good giving them out, because they arent toyota - compatible.

I myself have pretty much taken the cheaper parts if I think they're ok. My rear sway bar links (the ones with two bolts) are from a W201 mercedes, guess what they fit and are alot better to put on.

Anyhow, sorry I cant be of much assistance here.

Fist of meat,

I'm not sure how much effort you are thinking of putting into your parts but you may want to have a look at this thread I foundon a local board.

hey flashmn, does the place you work have a website where i can order parts? as far as quality, im going for just the body work for now, then later i plan on doing some rebuilding w/ performance parts. yo REN69, is that site http://www.rustrepair.com/ a good site, that is, have you ever bought from them before? btw, it isn't that it's hard to find junkyards, but that it's hard to find either a) yards that do foreign cars or b) yards that have the 88-92 corolla. honestly, most of the corollas left in the city are still running, since they are reliable cars i guess no one seems to want to junk them :P

Flashmn is from Finland.. if you don't mind paying the big shipping prices.

I've never bought parts from that place, but I was given that link by someone who did and he said he had no problems with them. Don't take my word for it though as anything can happen to anyone.

As for the picture link, upload your pictures to this site www.photobucket.com and THEN post the link dude.

I think that a person who wants precise bearing clearances may have to get genuine Toyota bearings since they come in a graduated set of sizes with finer distinctions among the sizes than aftermarket bearings. The Service Manual describes "Mark I", "Mark II" etc. sizes and they are available.
