93-97 Corolla Instrument panel bulbs.

Two questions:

1. What type of bulbs and how many for the instrument/gauge panel in 93-97 Corolla w/ tach?

2. What type and how many bulbs for the centre console?

Thanks.

If I remember, there's three in the gauge cluster of the AE92, not sure about the AE102. The bulbs are just regular peanut bulbs.

Ya.. it's 194 for the gauges and there's three of them and one 74 for the center console.

I left the ash tray and cigarette lighter light as is. I replaced the 74 bulb behind the ac/ heating control.

Mine had the tach. Not really sure if the gauge w/o tach has the same number of bulbs.

What color bulb did you put in.. i was looking at the range available at Canadian Tire and it was limited to just blue and red..

Any idea if there are other colors available?

I just put the regular ones for now.
I plan on installing LED's to replace the guage bulbs and the center console bulb.

Put Xenon bulbs in there, that's what I did! And the gauges are very bright now, I love it...

On the AE92's the bulbs that shine white usually have a different colour socket than all the others, and has a blue jacket on it..

What kind of Xenon bulbs did you put? What brand?
BTW I just changed the bulbs to red today, red is ok but I like yours. I wonder if white LED will look like that.

Definitely Xenons.. lol

yeah hoping for white, plus the 97 rolla has a dimmer switch for the dash.. it'll be sweet.

Same code(194) for the Xenon ultra whites?

Also Jas, white leds? mm.. i wonder.. yeah i wanna go white.. don't favour the blue very much.. red is ok i guess.. seeing what you did, i can take to it. Whites will be a nice touch.

:p
