She Runs again! FINALLY!

For those who are up to speed with my 20v issues, you will know what i am talking about. For those that dont: heres the short story.

Got 20v after 4AFE blew, installed it and it ran fine for about 6 months, then something went haywire and it started giving me lean signals and pumping WAY too much fuel in (were talking like 4x the amount of fuel - Litterally). Spent the next 12mths replacing everything from the O2 sensor to the Knock sensor, the AFM to the ECU temp sensor. To top it all off too, it had a massive exaust leak coming from the weld where the 2-1 connects...

After changing everything, it made it a little better but still didnt fix it. So i got fed up, and bought the Nissan. So it has sat in my garage for the last 6 months doing nothing. Well, i finally got the cash together to take it to the mechanic (it had me completely stumped), and finally we got it down to the ECU...

So i sent the ECU off to Melbourne to get it re-conditioned and got it back yesterday. Put it in, treated the fuel and topped up with more, jumpstarted the battery and she fired up like she used to! I now got full power again!

Anyway. Just to give you an idea of how rich this thing was running, this is what c ame out of the Exaust when i first fired her up again. Note the colour of the spotlight cover on the right, compared to the one of the left. And the big black stream of soot that runs down the middle:

Now all i gotta do is replace the Tensioner pulley, and possibly the Cat and she should be good for another 200,000km!
