Corolla 99 - Replacing Fuel Injectors

hello Folks,
I need your help.

One of my corolla's Fuel Injector seems to be partially blocked. I have determined that one fuel injector is the culprit.

I have couple of choices and need your help to make a better one.

Option 1:
I get all my fuel injectors cleaned by the dealer cost is $100.

Option 2:
I buy one or all four fuel injectors from a local wrecker and replace it myself (not a big job have done bigger jobs) . If I buy one it is $60 and for all $150 for all four.

My car has 180K KM on it. I am told that the ones I am getting had 80K KM on them.

What do you folks suggest. Should I go for Option 1 or option2?

If Option 2 , should I change one or all?

Appreciate any adivce

Daud

chances are you can get clogged injectors from the wreckers.

I'd go with choice 1, but I wouldnt take them to the dealership. Theres shops that offer injector cleaning, I'd take them there. Much cheaper.

Buy a bottle of fuel injector cleaner, fill up the gas tank and mix the bottle in with the tank. Most likely what Toyota will do anyways.

I believe the job that Toyota will perform is to attach a can of fuel injector cleaner to
the fuel rail and run the engine on that, till it is empty.

A bottle in the tank is not worth $100 unless they are ripping you off.

I think a total combustion chamber cleaning is not much more at least at independant
shops.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have another workshop that charges the same amount and will hook the car up with a machine Same price.

For the wrecker, he still has the injectors on the engine and will take them off once I tell him.

my concern is that does it matter if I have one Injector with a different pressure / age.

thanks
