New to me 94 Corolla, some questions...

Greetings folks, I just purchased a 94 Corolla with 189k on the odometer. The car seems to run fine and every thing works. I do have a couple of questions for the experts here:

1. On the Hwy, I noticed that I can turn the wheel an inch or 2 with no responce from the front wheels. Steering rack problem ?

2. The blower fan works on all speeds, but there is something in there, as I can hear the fan hitting stuff (paper, leafs maybe) Is there anyway I can get in there to clean it out ?

3. The air coming into the cabin smells musty. It rained last night, and the car seems dry inside, all floors and trunk. Is there a cabin air filter or something that needs to be changed ? or is there another possible cause ?

1. Turning the wheel an inch or two wont make a big difference.
2. Maybe dirt.
3.yeah, in the ducting behind the glove box.
