What can you do to this to make it decent?

Hi! I am new here and in fact this is my first car forum. I have little knowledge in cars, so treat me with caution. This is a car i have in mind, as it gives me a good balance on price, fuel economy, condition/milage, and appearance. It's a 64KW 1.4 '99 Corolla with 80,000 km on the clock.

I have little knowledge on what types of upgrades can go into something like this, but I would be curious to see whether this car can be made to look a bit more serious. Not Corolla WRC serious, but you know, good rims, chipped engine, probably that's all im looking for (no wings, etc).

If anyone can point me to the right direction, like some tuning websites for this car, some parts suppliers, some pictures of similar cars looking good - i would appriciate it.

I love this model! unfortunately is not a model North America got so we probably wouldn't be of much help.

I think a UK based forum would be of more help with regards to performance, as for wheels, I'd say a set of 16x7 wheels would be nice.

Lower springs, 16x7 wheels, new muffler (less restrictive, don't go cheap or you will sound like a can of bees farting down the road), Some kind of less restrictive intake, tint the windows.....It will look clean but not stock, and accelerate better.
