I want to make my car handle a bit better. I've ordered some coilovers and have rims, but I also want a strut bar. No one makes them for Geo Prizms, but shouldn't a strut bar from the same year Corolla be the same dimensions.
The Corolla and Prizms are basically the same car with different looks, so yeah suspension and parts wise everything will fit, interior and exterior body panels might be different.

most people think I mispelled Corolla, but my name is Carol and I was trying to make a double pun.
I'm sure ill notice a bigger difference when its lowered, but for 20 bucks for the strut bar, its not that bad. If anything it will help the underhood appearence.
The rear tie bar is to tie the ends of your rear suspension arms (underneath the car) in place. That language probably isn't as accurate as it should be.
Personal experience with a 96 Corolla and a strut tower bar is that the tailhappy behavior will basically disappear. No more deliberately fishtailing your way around corners at city speeds. (Drat!) Corners will be flatter, the car will stay planted better. Good luck with the coilovers, but you'll probably want to look into upgraded shocks if you got coilovers with stiffer spring rates than stock.

Haha...I figured it as a pun/whathaveyou, but was off in my interpretation...I took it as "the other car"olla, as in, it's the "other car," not necessarily a daily driver or whatever....but I digress.... Carry on !!!
well, my old car was an 87 chevy camaro, but 12mpg was killing me. So im trying to make my 1200 car faster than it was. to be honest with you, with a cai, header, downpipe, full 2 1/4 exhaust, its about as fast as it was on the highway.
