Will my 13" rims still fit over them? Do I have to change the master cylinder or it just as simple as changing the caliper and bracket for the caliper?
just for future referance to do the rear do I have to change the lines or master cylinder, I would think I'd have to but hey maybe I'm wrong
I think what they meant was not "as good" since they're drum on the back. The disc are the same up front on both cars up to 90, then they changed to bigger disc up front for the GTS but they kept the smaller discs on the SR5s.

Yes they will. No you wont have to change the master cyl, but you have to change the proportioning valve. But unless you do track driving, or the law demands you have disk brakes in the back (they do here when you turbocharge), I'd stick to the drums. The disks suck.
now for the proportioning valve is that just if I do the rear brakes?
as for the sr5 brakes sucking... than thats just stupid. Since the drums on the ae92 are pretty large. Most of the newer cars with mor weight to them have smaller rear drum brakes than the ae92....
Springs are different, I think the shocks are too. Otherwise it should be quite same. Atleast I havent seen any real differences, then again I havent been under the car with a vernier caliper either. The rear knuckles are different to house the disk brakes. But you can put AE82 rear disk calipers and call it a day. The piston is slightly bigger, 2mm in diameter versus the AE92 rear caliper. The AE82 caliper mounting bracket goes between the hub and knuckle, so its alot easier to install than the AE92 version.
lol well then as for that idea, it's out until I feel like getting a set of 14's and new snow tires since right now I only need a rim and a snow tire rather than 4 of both :p
