Hi all, im new to this site but not old Toyotas. I got lucky and hooked up with a 1983 Corolla with 58k miles! Pretty good shape except the drivers front fender. This girl owned it and hit a tree, she drove it till the state inspection was due and sold it to me for.........ready..........$300.
Im looking for a fender and maybe some other parts if someone still has this junk laying around I might be interested.
I also am driving a 1987 Toyota truck and its the best truck I have ever had, most dependable......
Help a brother out please, i know this belongs in the wanted section but i was hoping to narrow down the group intrest....
I have found the headlight housings and the left turn signal. I ordered a front bumper reinforcement and an exhaust. So far almost $200 in parts on a $300 car.
I painstakenly pounded out the acordian that was a fender back into shape, it needs a few tweeks but it looks good enought to reuse.
I will have to bend some metal and rebuild the windshield wiper vent cowling since half of it is rusted away, it was taped and painted over.
What i am having real touble finding is a rear bumper reinforcement or the whole rear bumper itself.
is that the year when they had the engine 3TC? omg, there's some locals around here with a 3TC in their old skool rollas doing 10s and 11s in the 1320
perhaps you should try a different rolla site, Ren, where are ya?! Ren knows the site i'm talking about, he gives it to old skool rolla owners all the time when they come in here
Its the 4AC 1.6. Thanks for the link.....still searching for a rear bumper to get it on the road...
I'm agree what you say, since I still searching a rear bumper reinforcement for my 1983 Corolla wagon for replace due to a rear end corrision a year ago.
Here is my wagon:

yes, 83 corolla do have 4ac engine, and it is the only one year do a 4ac engine in a 4th gen corolla.
I like the wagon. I have a 4 door and my rear bumper rusted away. I still have the old one and might have to reuse the attaching bracket and sort of make a new one. Modify to what I need.
Sorry but no pics, at least not for a while. Car is under a tarp sleeping until I get some time to work on it. Verified it is a 1.6L 4AC AE71L.......automatic trans.
No.. I know the 3TC is good, but if it wasn't as good as you say.. then you would have a 3TC in your car instead of a 20V 4AGE wouldn't ya???
in all honesty.. when i did my swap no one else in toronto aside from a friend of mine has the 20V. if i had to do it all over again, i would stick to a more period correct engine.
this one..
