turbocharging my corolla

I'm a little new to cars and I want to figure out about adding a turbocharger to my 06 Corolla LE. I talked to some guy at a dealer and he said many people do do this, but u have to be careful about getting a turbocharger that wont hurt the engine. Can anyone out there give me a suggestion for a turbocharger that will work great with my 06 engine without damaging anything in it? Also, how will the turbocharger hurt gas mileage and how much will the horsepower increase?

See my thread called 4AFE Turbo. Not exactly the same engine, but the general principles apply.

frofro06 - Just spray it. A turbo is too much money, too complicated. Turbo charged, twin turbo, or triple, its still just a Corolla. Waste as little money as possible. Best bang for the buck, simple, safe, and stealthy ... spray it.

I'd say its only stealthy... unless competition knows how to spot the nozzles and bottle. Safe and simple it is not, even though thats how its claimed to be, plus if you use it alot refills are expensive. Turbocharging/supercharging can be safer, plus you never have to get a refill.
Plus to get alot of power out of a N2O'd vehicle, you have to take the same basic steps as with a turbocharged system. Sure getting 30ish hp isnt a big deal, but it isnt a big deal getting it with a turbo- or supercharger either.
