If you buy a motor that is fuel injected, the system is basically built into the motor, so if you go with a 4AGE for example, the motor is already fuel injected, all you have to do is make sure that your fuel pump and your lines will match to the motor's demand. Also if you buy the motor, make sure you get the full wiring harness, sensors and fuse box. Since you have a 4AC, you will need to upgrade those things.

So basically the way it works, when you swap a fuel injected motor, you're basically swapping the system into your car. You can't really convert your actual 4AC into a fuel injected motor.. well you probably could, but it would be cheaper to just upgrade to an already fuel injected motor in the first place.

I know that PJ Bonifacio Auto Design in Socal can make that conversion for you, I'm just not too sure how much they will be charging you.. or maybe Toysport.com has a ready EFI system for that available. Go online and look for there website for contact information.

Try Club4AG.com theres a whole bunch of socal peeps there. Good Luck, I think you would save more money if you buy a real GTS, BUT if you love your car alot, the swap would make you feel much better. Plus if you do want to buy a real GTS I can get you one for 1900 in perfect running condition. Wait this is for an 86 right?

I think half of club4ag.com is based in Cali, I'm sure someone there would recommend a shop. Just remember its not cheap.
