Can anybody please help me where I can place two (2) Jack Stands on the front of a Corolla 05, if you have some pictures, it would be helpful. Thank you in advance.
Manual says, only on jack, I did also use the forum search, but did not find anything where to place the jack stands, I want to change my engine oil and oil filter, it will be safer to use jack stands. Thank you.

I would like to say what I do is offical but it insn't and I am sure people don't want to tell you where, and you end up getting urt... that's probably why people don't speak up.. maybe you are better asking a pro shop or dealer..
unofically, under the swing arm... int he fron't as it is where natural weighet is beared when driving, so it should be safe... since there is no frame, as it is a unibody... under the swing arms... or where they join the inibody. Under the A-frame support member on the fromt of the car, or the read end axles(s). I would seriously look up some professional website or ask a dealer. I don't want to be held resposible for anyone getting hurt for using my opinion. I also use a 2 1/2 Ton Hydraulic Jack and Heavy duty jack stands. I would say make sure you use heavy duty stands and jack. Mine maybe overkill, but I feel that much safer. Also, if you have a stick or autmoatic make sure you use your gear box, andbrake, and a wheel block. if you have an Auto trans, park is no substitute for a brake. Period. I grew up with cars from the 1950's 60's, and 70's when cars weighed 3 x more than modern cars and seen my share of cars not secure and properly. Even though I was never hurt I came close to death more times than I care to share...
Thank you, to everybody who answered, especially to the Guy in Sunny San Diego (Retiredat44), very useful info. I shall be buying a good 2 and 1/2 ton hydraulic jack cost around($50.00), and lift the car, as I had read, at the front of the car, at the crossmember, because those 2 1/2 ton jacks can lift up to 19" or 21", so I can easily slide the two jack stands on the swing arms on both sides, in front of the car. Safe enough? And maybe even learn how to do a good brake job, now that I have plenty of time for myself (retired).

Your welcome..I bought my 2 1/2 ton jack at Costco about 20 years ago for a few bucks, still works great...
I think I bought my stnds about that time too..
I bought a new creeper at walmart for $5.00 (clearance)
I really don't expect to kepe working on cars, since I am disabled, but money is short... so I wil alwasy need tools, unless I win the lotto.. I don't know where live, but plenty of deals on tools here in California...
get a Torgue wrench,, mine is 20 years old and stil use it often...
Get some of those disposble surgeoun / medical gloves and gardening gloves.. both work great... get an air compressor ( I grabbed a compressor that came with al the tools for $150.00 ) but if you can grab one with a large tank.. mine is only an 8 gallon tank..)_
Whenever I borrow my old man's 2 post lift to raise the whole car in the air, I use the frame weld points underneath each door. The front ones are about underneath where the door hinge is, and the rear ones are about underneath the rear door latches.
generally when i support a vehicle i look for some sorta beefy part that stands wont easily slip off. Generally i find fixed suspension points or crossmembers work well if the vehicle has a full frame there ,just be carefull and be safe, its not worth your life

Hi guys, any of you used those pinchweld jack adapter, for late model cars, are they any good, can we use them on standard jack stands, too? Cost about $15.00 to $22.00 USD each plus shipping.
