When it rains it pours!

For the last few months my car has been kind of hard to start. It would turn over a few times then spit and sputter when it finally started. It would smooth out real quick and then run perfect for the rest of the day. Well yesterday I tried to recharge the a/c and today the car will not crank at all. It just turns over and never tries to hit at all. Any ideas, I'm thinking it could be the coil. Anyone know any know any fuses I might can check for this.

a. What does your title have to do with the hard start?? Does the car only do this when it rains?? I had a rough idle problem before that only showed up when it rained, turned out to be the cap being lose.

b. I'd do a tune-up if I was you. Cap, Rotor, spark plugs and maybe wires if they're old. I bet this could solve a lot of problems if you've never done a tune up before. I do mine basically yearly or every other year at least.

lol.. title has nothing to do with the car starting. Just stating the fact when you have one small problem several more arise. I just don't understand why it would suddenly not start I plan on doing the tune up to see if that helps but for now I really need to get it running.

Engine needs facts to run. So check

Fuel
Air
Compression
Timing
Spark

You will be missing one of them. (sounds like and ignition problem to me)

yea but a carb isn't a huge deal, an ecu does more than just control injectors. Espicially on new cars... controls your coil packs too..

and hey if I had to I could put a cherry can on the roof and run a hose to the carb to get it home. Not happening with EFI lol.

and go ahead sr5 hater, laugh at the carb lol
