AE92 Hack/Mod Own Cluster for 91' Rolla

Sup peeps! I was wondering if its cool to hack mod the 91' Toyota Corolla's 4-dr Sedan's Speedometer with for example Toy Camrys, Celica's and such /w a lot of wire soldering of course and use the same 91' Rolla's Cluster frame? Course with Dremel in hand I really want to have some gauges that actually tell me something other than an indicator light to say hey you have uh abs nothing but I like to shine in your way of vision kind of lights. I know it's going to be a hoot when doing the mod, but hey I've already gutted the car out and took the dash apart well 5 times and I have a Haynes manual with wire diag. Any help Very much appreciate it. PS I'll probably get the tach or whatever from the Corolla 2dr (SR5) or what not model.

Most likely you wont get a proper reading as the wire speed might not be the same. Plus you might not get it to look good. What I'd do is get autometer gauges and make the dash from them.
