98 corolla bumper on 97

What do you think the chances are of getting a 98 corolla bumper on a 93-97 corolla with minimal exterior work. I like the look of the 98 bumper and I can get one for really cheap. But im worried ill just be throwing my money away. if it would require some mods under the car thats nothin but it i have to start cutting at the bumper i wont bother. has anyone done this or know of ayone who has?

I thought 98 are totally different from 97, inside and out? I say your chance is almost nil.

i know they did a full redesign of the car in 98 but im wondering if the bumper would fit. Has the car gotten wider, the bumpercover shorter or longer. If it will fit on the outside i can make it work.yah I think yur right though. My chances are probably very slim, but I really like the look of the one peice bumper and grill. very smooth lines. There is a body kit that looks the same as the 98 but its about $300. A 98 bumper only costs about $48. you see why i thought it might be worth a shot?
