my 05 LE hit a goose.. need help with sensor location???

hello everyone,

i've yesterday when i was driving home 1205 am, i hit a goose on the road, the dumb duck didnt get out of the way and i didnt see it,, poor thing, now the bottom part of my bumper is cracked, the little ribs in that air dam part are cracked as well, i only have one question to ask,

when i look in the gap between the radiator and the grill, theres some sort of sensor(?) dangeling from the wire, i dont know where it goes can anyone help me with this? theres two other wires that come out from that same group, and its attached to some round rubber thing next to my hood latch.

any help would be great! thanks!

You silly Goose!

Sorry... couldn't resist.
As far as the sensor location goes, it is probably somewhere on the cross-bar that comes down from the hood latch? Try to find a piece of plastic or something that has snapped off.

That would be your air temperature sender, the one that gives you the outside temp reading on your dash..Looking at mine its located in middle front of the radiator on a metal bracket that goes down vertically in front of the radiator...There"s a little hole about 3/4 of the way down this bracket on the right and on the sender it has a small white/cream colored plastic part that snaps into that hole...probably just popped out from hitting that bird
