Question engine swap?

is there anyway to change engines in the new 2003 Corolla S. i want to swap the engine with the celica gt-s engine. it is possible?

It'll fit but for the cost you could grab a TRD s/c for the Matrix (I'm pretty sure it will fit if you deal with clearance issues.) Check www.vvti.net for more hardcore info.

TRD makes the supercharger for the 03 Corolla as well, I have the catalog. But back to the question at hand; can you swap in the VVTL-i engine or at least the parts that give it the 50 hp bump?

And if so, then would it be possible to add the XS turbo kit for the Celica?

Lastly, what is the weight difference in the 03 Corolla and the 03 Celica?

You might just be better off getting the turbo availble from Stafford Fabrications. HP is at 207 with a 7.5 psi boost. here's the link.
