Hey i cant remember the name of the guy i bought my corolla off of, but i believe ren69 new about my car.
i just want to know if you guys have any info on what needed to be done. i work for the dealership now so i get discounted parts for toyota. so i wanna get the car in good runnin condition
something i noticed is if i dont put octane 94 from sunoco, the car stutters when im on the gas. whats the reason for this. i know that mr2 coil pack was done. what else?
Dude.. its a 1990 which means you have the smallport 4AGE, that motor doesn't run on cheap gas, only premium or at least 89 octane. Don't put 87 octane on that motor or you risk blowing it.... I thought you knew.
well i filled up at 91 octane and it stil does the stutterin shit sometimes, but not as much as it did before, normally i fille up wit octane 94, and i find it burns slower.
and btw, go on www.tada.ca or .com, cant remember, they have all the dealrship jobs there.
not always, so thats why I ask :p
right now I am not looking to put an engine in that requires high octane, seems like a big port will be my best bet if I go 4age.
BTW how would i get a hold of derek on this site? i also need to find out what i have to do to fix my sunroof, i hear the motor workin but there is that black seal around the top.
For other GTS owners experience, i know they leak, by replacing the seal, does it fix that problem?
Yea well, SR5's and GTS, have ALOT of other things in comparision. ** GTS **,
starting this month this car will have begun a serious make over, as stupid as it sounds, im going to fully rebuild this car, i am selling my supra just so that i can focus on this GTS, i lost my last one after spending close to $5000 in it, before it got stolen, and it seems more praticul for me right now. good on gas, and F***** fun to drive.
Anyways. has any other GTS had this problem with thier sunroof, the motor seems to be working, but i havent really tried it? any one have a story to tell?
