I would say the second one is...but the first (from the picture) looks to pinched to be mandrel bent.....but that is from the look in the picturers......also they look like the wheel diameter was too small for the pipe diameter. See if you can see the stress stretch marks that would be approximately 3 " on either side of the centre of the bend....does that make sence?....look at the second picture and you will understand.

well it doesnt look like it has any wrinkles, so it most likely is mandrel bent (are there any exceptions?)

That is not a mandrel bend. You can clearly see an indentation where the pipe bender was on it, and reduced diameter through the bend. A true mandrel bend would have the sime diameter through the bend as through the straight section, an would look like this no matter what.....

Not mandrel bent. Looks like the same type of bend we get with our regular pipe bender.

Thats not a mandrel bent tube either, you can clearly see the middle portion has a crush.

All the pictures in this thread up to this post are crush bent.

Those are not mandrel bends, you can see it where the bend is, it gets deformed to the side, take a look at the 2nd pic, bends dont deform, as per lighting shadows indicate.

meh those ones were hard to tell as the first one is a silver tube on a white background, looks like the part missing is because of lighting. The red one looks good to me <shrugs>
