Question Lights stay on

I have a 99 corolla. Today I noticed the "Lights Are Still On" warning sound went off even though my headlights were in the off position. I checked the lights and saw that it wasn't the headlights that were still on, but the parking lights? The rear parking lights are also on. I thought this might be an electrical problem caused by an aftermarket alarm system, but I disabled it and saw no change. I assume this wouldn't be a fuse problem, because a bad fuse would mean no lights. I recently replaced the right front blinker, as it was cracked, but I have been driving with this replaced light for a week without any problems. I didn't have any idea what to do, so I just unplugged the battery. What would you recommend?

yep that was the first thing i checked. the parking lights stay on unless i unplug the battery every time i park. once the parking lights turned off when i parked, so i thought my problems had solved themselves, but when i returned to my car, they were mockingly shining in the face. could this be a circuit relay problem?

Sounds like a circuit relay to me. Depending on which way the Toyota Relays are made, it sounds like either your spring or coil in the relay has failed...
