ae101 muffler help

i just got an ae101 and the muffler is ridiculously coroded and i'm lucky my dad hates it because he's buying me a new muffler but i cant find any driect fit aftermartket mufflers for a decent price so i was wondering if a direct fit after market muffler actually exists otherwise how do i go about putting one on thats not a direct fit
any help would be great

Putting a new muffler on is easy if you are any good at welding. You simply cut the old muffler off, and weld the new one on.

As far as i know there are no 'direct fit' mufflers for the corolla...

i have seen some direct fit ones on ebay once in a blue moon. otherwise go to a muffler shop and pick out an aftermarket one and they can weld it on there, if the whole exhaust is bad then get them to redo the whole thing with 2.25" piping

It is possible to do it with clamps and adapters but its a pain in the ass

Go get a dynomax. They arent overpriced, they sound good and they work well.
