I have a 4age big port red top from a 88 FWD Corolla with 3angle valve job, port and polish head... I have 82mm 10.5 forged pistons, Bore 40 over, shaved and balance crank, lightweight fidanza flywheel, and ACT Xtreme pressure clutch.
My question is what do you think I would be able to kill on the street/track or what would be my time on an 1/8th mile track? Any guesses please.. Thanks
How bout you do a dyno session to see what your power figures are right now, then we'll see. Other than being able to keep up with Integras, I would basically say Civics.
What porting did you do to a big port?? The ports are already too large. So basically you have a fresh engine with a little more compression than standard.
What sort of car is it in?
Why don't you just take it to a drag stip? e-racing sucks.

I wish I have access to a dyno... I'm a look around. How much do you think it will cost to run it?
well are the ports really too big? the idea with porting isn't JUST to make the ports larger but also to make the intake ports on the manifold and head match size... i would also polish them
So pretty much you think I'm a be wasting my money and no or a little bit of performance will be added after those mods?? I don't understand... So I wouldn't be able to keep to much huh?

Truthfully... yeah, I wouldnt of touched those parts, till maybe when I've reached the point that you cant do anything else.
Only real power mod you did was the pistons, but even then 1mm wider bores arent that much bigger. Take it to a dyno and see what the power is now. Then thats a good point of starting.
Id say your around 100whp, so You could hang with stock civics, integras, neons, eclipses, of the similar era.
Nothing to brag about.
My corolla handles good, but was sloppy when I first got it.
Front strut bar, rear upper and rear lower tie bar, coilovers with 1.5in drop, koni shocks and 17in wheels. It pulls .89g's according to a gtech.
As for performance.. its gets it done. Cold Air intake, Header, Downpipe, Magnaflow cat, catback mandrel bent (not really for power, but a whole igniton upgrade to ensure a safe spark).
