Hi, I'm new. This is actually my first post.
Anyway, who cares. My question is which euro/altezza tail lights do you prefer? I'm very undecided since I haven't seen any that look great on ebay.
Also, if my car is a 6th gen corolla, which civic do I have? The AE101? Mine is a 2000 corolla? What in the world does ae stand for anyway? Thanks in advance, Mo.
You will find that the general feeling on taillights here on TN are that the best are the stockers. Also, if you are confused by the different chassis codes (AE86, AE92, AE101, etc.) look them up in the Master Sticky of info on the top of the forums.
Neither.. Alteezas, specially the chrome ones are.. how they say.. "ghey"

I just want to say... which Civic?? I don't recall ever seeing a Corolla civic before, the question is.. what year is your Civic? I mean Corolla?? That would make it easier to figure out.

i believe that he means what civic is equivelent to it (for parting out?) but i don't think any of them are, but correct me if i'm wrong. also, i think the biggest reason ppl want altezzas are to get rid of those god awful yellow lenses (at least that was my reason). i found that some of the corollas have a yellow lense inside the clear lense that can be removed which is what i did and the tails look beautiful now, no damned yellow... btw, emiliorescigno, that supra is so sexy. it's an 87 right? turbo or na?
hehe.. I figured that much, anyways, I think basically for your year of Corolla I don't recall seeing too many lights that looked good, if anything I think the better one out of all of them would be the darker style ones, not the chrome ones.
ah.. Kinda like me.. Owned Civics, then Corollas. Now we have a 93 Civic HB as my GF's beater.. nice little car but I swear I can pedal faster on a tricycle.
if your car was a 6th gen, you could see a couple of tail light options on my car posted here: Post pics of your AE92, (I like the right side, but all my spares are like the left side), but it sounds like you have an 8th gen, and I know nothing about them.

Sup dude! What yellow lenses are u talking about. If your talking about the amber turn signal on the 98-02 tailights and ur saying it could be removed...How?..... It'l save me money from buying the red clear stock looking lights from ebay thanks

Dude - you don't need to go to the Gallery to find the Generation codes. All you need to do is go to the top of the page and read the sticky with in big capital letters says: **READ ME FIRST**
This is the master corolla sticky that lists it all.
But imo, the best tails are the stock tails. But each to their own...
