Cost for repairing rust damage on an AE86???

Hey guys,

Has anyone here had a fairly rusty AE86 repaired? How much did it come out to? I don't mean like the underbody, just say 3 out of 4 fender lips were rusted and various other places on the exterior.

Anyone know of places to get rust repaired in BC that will give you a good deal?

How much rust we talking?

I have a minimal amopunt of rust on my car. The only real probalem areas are the wheel wells and the moon roof. There is also the os small spot here and there. I'm also wanting a sand blast and repaint.

The quotes I've gotten range from $3,500-$5,000.

For an idea of the condition of my car go to this link and look at Ashley. You may not be able to see the rust because much of it has bondo over it. You should see a nice little hole where the rust ate around the bondo on the passenger side fender.

Wow that makes my AE almost look clean lol .Im doing all my own rust remouval and welding because most body shops wont do this kind of job below 2000$.
