Two Inside of Door question

1. Inside of my car I just bought, the 2000 corolla, has like a greese stain of some strange sort. It is only on the driver's side and the seat behind the driver it is on the door as well. Not on the door, but where you would rest your arm if you wanted to rest your arm, and not on the actual rest, but to the left, literally on the door. If that makes sense and I did not lose you after over explaining, I'm wondering what is under that cloth area of the door. If I unraveled the covering, I'm wondering if it would be the same material as the rest of the door or not. I can't get the greese stains out at all. Help? "Me love you long time" if you can.

2. Also, how long does it take to replace a door handle? Will I lose my patience and then douse my new car in gasoline, light a match and just be done with it or is this something relatively easy time wise? Thanks for any estimates of time you provide.
