Don't worry about it, toyotas don't need to have the oil changed, in fact they don't even need oil.

Hows it running, my good 20v's at about 85,000 and the others at 160,000. Both mine seem to be running really well.

Funny thing that.....when my first Toyota hit 100000KM I thought WOW, what a car...having driven only domestics before then...well it came and went, then 200000KM, then 300000KM...etc at 504367KM I traded it in. It was like loosing an old friend, I got so attached to it that I still think today that was the "best built car" ever, reality is that it was no better than my GF new Corolla, maybe even worse.....but it never gave me any problems, always ran and was reliable. My brother had a Corolla wagon, I don't know what year but it was so badly rusted when he drove it to the junk yard (no dealership wanted it) that you could not lite a smoke in the car as the wind would blow it out....the engine was a solid block of black goo.....buy it always started and always got him were he wanted to go....it wasn't a babe magnet but was a good car...errr....what was left of it. Mileage milestones, for me anyway, make me more and more found of the car...and hate when i have to trade\sell it....

punter, dont u say rollas need oil, that's bs... i blew the engine in my rolla because it ran out of oil... i was driving it one day and then i heard the car make a bunch of loud clunkin noises then it turned off, took it in tom a mechanic, it was bone dy not a drop of oil in it, $700 i found out that the oil pressure light wasn't working. if rollas dont need oil, whay would they put it in the car? depending on ur rollla, spud, thefilter could be in any place, but if u've never changed the oil before i suggest u take it to juffy lube (or wherever you like to take it in aus to get it serviced) and get them to do it.it should be prtty cheap to, maybe about $25 over here

Have you noticed any significant changes in any engine components from the beginning to now? Outside of the normal tune up items anything wearout?

What you mean except for the ECU dieing? Nope

Nah, no major problems, but there was circuit rot in the ECU so i needed to recondition it...

Punter: At least thats what the ECU and CEL codes are telling me. I cant figure it out, because at the moment i have a high idle, black smoke, low fuel pressure and a osscilating vacum lines The ECU does seem to be over-compensating a bit tho if i'm getting black smoke.

diver9000: Took it apart, decided it was too hard to do myself, sent it to Injectronics in Melbourne, and they replaced the curcit boards and the chip that had exploded due to constant shorting In case you don't know what circuit rot is, its where the metal strips pull away from the boards and then corrode, because the acid has got to them underneath. Leaves you with intermittant shorts because the metal is flapping...
