I need new brake pads for our 2006 corollaS that gets TONS of miles from commuting. Which ones are the best in terms of performace and quality, price is not an issue.

Summit racing.com they have a brake pad called VGX. Its got an aluminum shim that helps reduce the typical noise you would hear from front brake pads. They are super quiet and stop on a dime. They are not over priced either. I have them on my GTS and they work well in the rain or dry weather.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Anyone else have any suggestions, they are front brakes that I need. Also, if anyone could direct me to some instruction on how I would go about changing them or if I should just let someone else do it?

Are you changing the brakes only? Or the rotors too? Check out any good tech manual. They all have step by step procedures to follow. They are only about $12-15.
