96 prism with 4afe

what's up guys-

first off, this is my beater/commuter car. it drives nearly 120mi/day. the roads i drive are mostly backroads (hills and turns) i would like to give it a bit more power, to help get up some of those hills, and power through some turns. i've been searching through posts to see what's possible with this car/engine. some say 7a block/4age blacktop head/turbo, some say supercharged 4AGZE setup. i am willing to do just abt anything, to tell the truth. i am, however, trying to stay around or under $1000US. (seeing as this is my commuter)

i already have 96 corolla coilovers and strut brace on order to help with handling. any other ideas?

i will be doing all the work with a friend, so labor is not a problem. i just need the parts! i am willing to pickup parts as long as the drive cost doesn't outweigh shipping.

hook it up!

john
