Lowering Spring Brands?

Does it matter what brand a lowering kit is because it is just a spring do they really make a difference when you pay 300 rather than 150. Let me know because I was told it doesn't matter.

definately stay away from the $19.95 ebay coil overs, other than that stick to your name brands Tein, Eibach, B&G, H&R ........ just depends how hard a ride you want and how low...

Just a heads up the OEM struts dont last long with lowering springs

Springs sag.. usually brands like Intrax and Suspension Techniques sag more than the other brands. I'm with 94_Rolla_Guy for brands.

Theres like 3-5 spring manufacteurers world wide, that sell their stuff to spring-brands. The ebay springs generally are just "bulk" springs, which are universal. If you're getting coil overs, a good indication of a good spring is that theres alot of space between coils. Two springs of same length and spring rate, the other has less coils than the other, that one is better quality. Just a heads up.

It depends on lots of stuff. How you intend to drive. Where you intend to drive. How low you want to go. What kind of struts are you running. Koni is a good choice. Expensive but good. Are you looking for adjustable spring rates, or do you want a overall decent spring?

How much is your budget?
