You mean a tachometer? Yes, it is possible. There are a few ways to do this. If you can find a cluster with the tach in it, then use that. If not, go to autozone and buy a small sunpro tach like I did. It will cost you 30 bucks, and all you have to do is find someone to wire it in if you don't know what you're doing.

No Autozone in Canada, but he could go to Canadian Tire or even Princess Auto, buy a cheap tachometer and install it on his car. Last time I was at princess auto, they had small tachs for about $25-30 CDN.

I'm afraid that's not possible. You need to put in a good bit of money to make it powerful.

Well, with the exchange rate, that car should have about 30 extra HP over the American model

I put a tach in mine, a sunpro believe it or not. The wiring is easy, black goes to (-) Negative side of the battery terminal, red goes to the (+) positive side terminal, white goes to your headlight fuse in the fuse box (lights on, lights up tach, easy enough) and the green, which everyone dreads is so easy. Just wire it to the est, esc whatever you call it block of the diagnostics, ill take some pix later.

That's what the tachs at Princes Auto were.. and they were about the same price basically, $25 CDN plus tax.

TheOtherCarolla, your pics will be appreciated, if possible make it a separate thread so I can sticky it.
