4AGE swap to 03 corolla - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I was looking up a motor for a swap for my 03 corolla and i came across the 4AGE silvertop. I have two questions,
1. would the motor mounts fit rite if i did the swap?
2. would this be the best motor to go with?

1. nope they wont fit
2. Nope it wouldn 2ZZ-GE would be a better option.

Plus I wouldnt even considering going down into old generation motors when the new ones are here.

I agree, 2ZZGE is a much better swap for your car, leave the 4AGEs to the older Corolla guys.

try 9thgen corolla .com, it's more of a site specific for your generation of Corolla, and I'm sure that question has popped up there a million times.
