AE92 Painting is finished

Well it took a lot longer then I expected and it costed more then I thought too, but my corolla is back in action.

My car managed to survive a couple of interior fires (one which claimed my radio antena) and a giant rat in the engine bay, but now its back together and looking good again.

As you can see I still have a few small parts to put back on, plus a few touchups here and there but at least its road worthy. Feels good to be done.

i like the car, it looks nice, the colour looks close to my car, also like the rim choice and colour.

What colour is it anyways?

Time to drop it man! That SUV clearance doesn't make the car any justice.

The color is the metalic blue that came stock. It turned out quite a bit darker then my previous paint but I like the color too.

As for dents I tried to get them all out, and nearly succeded... The car needed a lot of body work and I baically had to replace both rear quarter panels, half of each running board, and make new flares for the front fenders. I don't know what you saw in the picture but its probably just a relection from the building. However I did miss one small dent on the passenger door. I also had some fitment issues when reassembling the car, expecailly with the side skirts. They required some searious focing.

And as far as lowering my car anymore, i think I'll leave it as is for now. I guess it won't be seeing any more winters so I could adjust the CO's in the back a bit. I kinda messed up when installing my koni's and the back shocks are pretty close to the bump stops already. To make it right I'd have to rip apart the whole back end again.

Maybe next year...
