Thumbs down Going to College need help now!

Hey guys...man ive had rotten luck with toyota recently...but this time ive runinto a time crunch.

i want to take my 01 corolla down tomorrow but TODAY, the turn signal switch failed.

When i press the hazard button the lights flash. When i switch the headlights on using the switch, only the headlight bulbs themselves go on, none of the instruments illuminate or the rear lights/parking lights. Brake lights work fine when pressing on brakes.

I even tried triggering the auto light sensors and it made the click sound but only the headlights became brighter (DRLs). I've checked fuses, but maybe i missed some? Or a relay i should check? Ive talked to people and they say its the multi switch but would that switch failing affect the auto lights too? I should note here that the highbeam trigger still works.

I should say that they were working fine yesterday. This morning before driving it, i took out the center vents and all that stuff (faceplate) surrounding the head unit as i wanted to get a new one. So i proceeded to do so and unpluged the clock/hazard/head unit. Then i drove off to my electronics store to buy my HU. The signals werent working then and i thought maybe it was hooked to the head unit or the hazards...(doubtful right?). I got back put the new headunit in and plugged everything back in (checked 3 times), and the hazards work, clock work, hu works, but the turn signals still dont work.

So what can i do....!?Thanks guys!

Same thing happened in my '93. The directionals actually are connected to the hazards; if the hazards aren't plugged in, the directionals won't work.
I managed to blow a fuse as well, so double-check all of them (or find a wiring diagram that tells you which fuse goes to what). I finally figured out I blew a fuse because my inside light didn't go on and my door stopped making the "dinging" noise when it was open with the key in. Three things not working made me realize it was a fuse and not a wire.

The lighter, and the clock etc... are usually on the same fuse. Check the fuses. Also when you put the connectors back together make sure you didnt push one of the wires out the backside of the connector. (might have pushed too hard)
