2000 corolla intake

hey all im new the forums i got a 2000 corolla cd and i was wondering if you guys had any recomendations on a short ram air intake or cold air intake that would increase some bit of performance on my car. Also i seem to have an oil problem and kendall toyota said that i needed and an oil belt or something of that matter if anybody has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

UGH!! why do you have this posted three times on the Corolla Forum? this is what you need to do you can either A. Buy a cheap one off of ebay and throw away the filter that comes with it and get a K and N filter the only filter i reccomend and hook it up to your car, make sure you get one that is compatible with your O2 sensor otherwise you just got ripped unless you can find another way to mount it. or B do what i did and buy one directly from a aftermarket company like Injen, K and N, or AEM. I bought my Intake from K and N the typhoon series Short Ram, they warranty it and give you step-by-step instructions so even the non-car person could figure this out. Just dont buy a cheap air intake that puts the filter near the back of the engine instead of far away from it is as possible otherwise you have defeated the whole purpose of Cold Air intake and now have hot air going into the combustion chamber. Hope this helps.
