did you get the network adapter? i havent checked out its online racing yet, but i have a killer levin set up, that game is neat. though seriously flawed.

i heard the online play isnt that great. I dont have the adapter. I rented it for the weekend to see whether I'd buy it or not. I spent more time viewing the cars than racing them. I dont think I'll pick this up anytime soon. I'll wait till it turns into a greatest hits (if it gets that far). I prefer Midnight Club 2.

yeah i was having that problem. i'd find myself just building cars and not racing them. i'm still gonna try it online though, one day.

Figures! Is it even a racing game, or do you just design you own car?

its a cross between Ridge Racer and GranTurismo. You race to open better parts, garage accessories, etc so there's no money involved. You can start with any available car and you can upgrade them to a certain level. The graphics use cell shading giving it that cartoon look.

the controls suck, and the graphics are really that amazing, I hate the speed lines effect when you start going fast, it's creative but at the same time annoying when you are playing.

i wouldnt buy it.. its more of a rental.

you can turn those off if you want to. i personally think its neat. my biggest complaint about this game is lack of LSD. the pyhsics arent that great but i mean its made by capcom and i think they did a really good job for a racing game. this is a company known for street fighter and the like, so a racing game is kinda off their genre.

graphics are incredible in my opinion. looks nice, highly stylistic.
