Exclamation PLEASE HELP ME with alternator question

hello i have a question
I replaced 2 fog light bulbs from 55W to 100W and i WANNA KNOW IF IT IS OKEY

MY ALTERNATOR IS 80 amps and my DAD IS SAYING THAT IT WILL GO DEAD

my alternator for TOYOTA COROLLA S 2004 is 80 amps. will anything happen to alternator if lets say head lihgts are on and the fog lights are on and the heater and radio and rear lights are on will it cause any damage?

so from 2 bulbs of 55 watts i went to 2 bulbs of 100 watts i added + 90 Watts
does alternator have extra "POWER SPACE" like if i add neons?
please explain it to me is it bad??? ok thatnk you veryyyyy much

I think you will be alright, just make sure those new bulbs don't melt the lenses.

Extra 90W at 14.4VDC is an extra 6.25A strain on the alternator. Whether your alternator can handle this or not depends on what other loads you are running.

alt and lenses will not be affected

your harnesses on the other hand with that high of a draw....may not be

You will be fine.

I had 600W of power when my hi-beams were on on an 80amp alt, and it ran fine. Just took a while longer to charge the bat...
