I am wondering how I go about wiring my foglights to make them come on with my marker lights, you know... before the headlight pop up and the lights under them come on with the tail lights.
yea but what wires should I splice, I really don't want to rush into my wiring and do that. Not enough power from the marker light power wire to run everything is there?
Uuuuuu dont splice anything side marker light are way low current than fog lights, use a relay man just in case.

it depends on how you splice them. if you splice them in a series circuit, then you'll have the same current throughout while the voltage is divided, if you splice them in a parallel circuit, then you'll have the same voltage throughout while the current gets divided. i believe that if the current stays the same, then the bulbs should stay bright (i think) so you should use a series circuit. to do this, attach the negative of the left corner to the positive of the left fog lamp, and the negative of the left fog to the positive of the left corner. then do the same thing to the right side lights. just make sure that you use the power from the fog lights and not the corners otherwise like sportrally said, both lights will be dim. that should do the trick, just keep in mind that it would require that you cut the harness' off both lamps and reattach them.

Why not add a separate switch. There are empty switch ports on the dash already, why not use one of those? You can get an illuminated or non-illuminated switch so that you can turn them on and off at your convenience. The wiring is easy to do. You can run circuit or separate switch. I would run separate switch that way you have full power and less chance or any interference.
I know that if you connect the wire to the headlight fuse they will come on when the headlights come on with no loss of power. They may do the same if you find the fuse that is specific for your marker lights. I dont know if its the same fuse as the headlamp fuse. If you can connect the wiring that way at least you wont have to cut into any wires. Good Luck
All i did to achieve this is run the wire into the car, and connect it to a power wire. You can either conect it to:
Cigarette Lighter - will turn on when car is on.....good for using them as driving lights
or
Gauge lights - which wil turn on when you turn the gauge lights on (which also will turn on the marker lights
Best idea is to splice them on the cigarette lighter, but also have a switch on the power. So they will go on and off with the car and can be turned off when teh car is running.
It's very easy and I have done it many times. You do not need a toggle for this installation and if you fallow this diagram your lights will come on with your parks and stay on when your headlights are on. If you want them to be able to turn off then you will need to run the wire lead from the positive side of your park light to a toggle in your interior so they can be turned off. With the toggle in the on position they will shut off whenever you turn your Park lights off.
If you have any other questions please feel free to email me at d_kiesman@hotmail.com and I will help you out. If I lived near you I would just come over and do it, it's a very quick and easy job.
