USA 2005-06 Corolla Owners With Extended Crank Condition

First off I see the sticky is gone on the Extended Crank-No Start Condition. It is valuable information for owner's of this car and should not have been removed in my opinion. It appears Toyota has modified parts specific to our issue in TSB EG053-06 dated September 4, 2006. Fuel pump and assembly is now to be replaced for those with this issue. Furthermore I never owned a Toyota that didn't start on a dime meaning no crank whatsoever, until purchasing an '06 Corolla. I have yet to take action on any repair and hope anybody who has will respond here. VIN numbers no longer apply, only for those with this complaint btw.

There is a new program out for the ECU that was released by Toyota just about 1-2 weeks ago. I had it done, and the car now seems to start faster. I also have not had that extended crank problem since. They are guaranteeing me that this is the fix. I would have it done, if I were you...
