On most vehicles (86 too) the hard brake line going to the rear brakes are also lined up together with the 3 fuel lines. (Feed, return, vapour). Chances are if the brake line is rusty, the lines next to it aren't going to look too pretty either.
Option 1) Check if Toyota still stock the pre-bent hardlines, if they do you will have to move a lot of things out of the way to install those lines. You can still bend them slightly.
Option 2) Go aftermarket and order a roll, flare and bend your own lines. You then don't have to follow the OEM route EXACTLY, since its difficult with so many things bolted to the chassis.
Option 3) If only a short section of the line is rusty/leaking, cut that section out and repair. Order or cut a replacement piece of line, flare the ends of the new line and the original line still on the car. Join them together with a union. Do not use compression fittings, as it is illegal and dangerous. This is what most shops do as its easier, faster, and it works. Usually the hardlines inside the engine bay are ok, its just the section exposed under the car thats all crusty.
