who has done the fwd 3sgte swap???

Hello to all. I am new here so please bare with me.
I am currently putting a 3sgte (st 185) into my ae100 jdm spec on all items( car engine etc.). I have gotten most of the mounts lined up and know some drilling and welding will take place. If there is anyone out there that has done a similar swap into an ae100, ae102, ae110 and can give me some pics and measurements it would be greatly appreiciated. I am using a 3s gearbox for now as that is what is available.

You can use a GZE (E5X) transmission for the swap, not sure how much modification would be needed, but I have seen an AE92 with this swap and using the AE101 GZE transmission.

If you mean the 4a gze box it wont fit the bell housings are different and even if you try to change the housings it wont line up. Beleive me I went that rout all ready.
I know you can use the mr2 turbo box which is an e series as well but none available here.
I will just push the 3s box for as long as I can and keep looking for an mr2 box.
Thanks for the input. Ill post some pics and let you all see how it going in a couple of days I should have it running and boy I can hardly wait to run down a few black tops.

A lot of guys that do the swap into Camry's keep the 5SFE box or use a 3SGE box, usually upgrading the clutch though.
