ae92 fog lights

ok i just bought a 91 ae92 corolla, it has foglights in the bumper but they dont turn on. i have looked inside but i havent found a switch for them. are they supposed to come on with the headlights or parking lights, or is there a switch for them? -jake

The 2 round lights?? They're not foglights, they're running lights and they turn on when the car turns on but then turn OFF when you turn the lights on.

This was Toyota's attempt to comply with the "Daytime Running Light" rule imposed in North america in 1990.

man i feel like an idiot, i checked the bulbs a little while ago and realized they were low power amber bulbs which couldnt be fog lights

btw, has anyone found a set of fog lights that fit in that opening nicely?

Im sure you can find some that will fit or come really close if you search the web. But there are lots of them like REN said that are aftermarket and they look good too.
