2JZ in an AE86 possible?

Hey guys, i may end up selling my trans am and with the money i wanted to do something different.

I have always liked the AE86's because it is RWD as well. My question is can a 2JZ fit in a corolla? Not sure because I only know about american cars but I know i would need to do some custom work but its not big of a deal. Curious if anyone has heard or done this before.

It has been done before, do a search, I'm too lazy to find the pics.
Is it possible? Yes
Is it practical? Hell No

If you're interested in a more useable engine swap for the AE86, a 20V 4A-GE or 4A-GZE is much much easier.

Big enough shoe horn? it looks kinda tight? ive always heard the AE-86 has almost 50/50 weight distribution stock i would think a 2JZ whould totally destroy that!

If i was looking for any handling id look at something else like a 4age or 4agze or build the 4agze into a turbo motor or if i got brave a 3sge or a 3sgte....

For straight line maybe a 2jz would be ok but it would be extremely difficult to do
