1993 Toyota 4X4 Corolla Wagon 5spd?

Hey all!

This is my first post here, I've done some searching here on this but can't find a proper answer.

I'm considering purchasing a 1993 Toyota 4X4 Corolla Wagon as my next winter car - this thing is just awesome but one problem, it's auto and I hate it!

All I need to know at this point is if it is possible to easily (meaning the parts are readily available, I've done auto->5spd swaps on other cars and know it can be a pain in the butt) source the parts to get this done and for a REASONABLE price.

I'm supposed to go get this thing out tomorrow so any quick responses are extremely appreciated. If anyone knows of any existing links to others doing swaps on this 4x4 system with how-to's, etc that would be nice to see as well.

Like I said, all I need to know at this point is if it is possible within a reasonable amount of work and budget, and the parts are reasonably easy to find.

PS - If it matters, I'm in Ontario, Canada!

Thanks!!

ALL-TRAC actually and yeah, it would be possible to swap to 5spd BUT you'll have to look for a 5sp ALL-TRAC wagon or sedan at a wreckers and take the transmission and parts from that. However these are not easy cars to find at wreckers, unless you can get your hands on a parts car somewhere and take the stuff from that. Your other option would be trying to source the parts from Toyota and that would be lots of $$$$$ IMO.
