Talking perfect tool box!

ok a lil off the usal my car is broken how do i fix it thread. anyway a 5 drawer portable. l got mine and ill say what i have and just add whatever extra. basic stuff now nothing real fancy.

drawer 1. screw drivers. small long star and flat

drawer 2. sockets 1/4-3/8-1/2 metric and standard and rachets and extensions

drawer 3. wrenches all sizes metric and standard-combo-box-flex head

drawer 4. pliers-needle nose-vice grips-dykes

drawer 5.hammers dead blow ball pin and fender covers.

thats mine. i start a new job so thats what i have. what else do i need? what else do you have?

depends on what you're doing.... you'll probably need some sort of electronic testers and maybe other specialty tools.....

How do you get all the wrenches iand sockets in 2 drawers? I have the typical roll around tool check with almost all the drawers filled with wrenches and sockets.

I also try to group tools together in drawers, but usually I just use my socket set which has it's own case.

I also try to make 1 drawer for imperial, and another for metric wrenches.

I have a wall mounted tool holder, plus I got a desk and some shelves. I just cant fit my tools into one tool box.

All you need are M8, M10, M12, M14, M17, M19, M21 sockets and wrenches to work on Toyota. You'll need more if you gonna take the engine apart.
