05' Corolla Check engine light Flashing

I had a question for all 05' corolla CE owners. When you start your corolla, does the check engine light flash? Mine flashes for 5 secs and flashes exactly 7 times. but then it goes off and doesn't come on when i'm driving. i haven't noticed this before, so i'm not sure if this was happening before or not.

and do you think this is a problem?

Hmmm I have a 05 corolla S and mine turns off as soon as the engine has fired.... Now are you sure it is the check engine light and not the Maint Required light? Check these pics because usually the main req light flashes and then goes off to remind you that a oil change is coming up...
