constant power to cig (12V) plug

I'm a regular in the 2005+ Tacoma forum, and recently did a simple mod to keep constant power flowing to my 12V outlets. Very useful for charging cell phones, bluetooth earpieces, GPS devices, etc...

I'd like to do the same for my wife's 1993 Corolla, but before I jump under there and screw something up, I was wondering if anyone has done this on a Corolla. I couldn't find any DIY articles through search.

Not that I know of, but I think it would be very similar. You'd probably have to tap directly to a live power wire OR straight to the battery.

My favorite part was when one poster said something about the relay protecting the circuit. In the automotive world, not so much.
