Gear ration information for a 5 speed 88 wagon

This 88 5 speed wagon I'm buying doesn't have a tach unfortunately but I would like to be able to figure out how many rpm's the engine will turn at a given speed. If I have the final drive and gear ratio I can do a bit of math to get the rpms from a given speed. I did search but I didn't find any 6th gen specific info.

Well, I have a 5 speed transmission. Is there a transmission code in the VIN or something?

Well, I think I have a C50. No way of knowing for sure. If I could just get the 5th gear and final drive ratio I'd be fine.

Go to Princess Auto, buy a $30 tachometer and install it on your car. Done.

I also think you have a C50.

C50 ratios should be :
1st = 3.545
2nd = 1.904
3rd = 1.310
4th = 0.969
5th = 0.815
Final drive = 3.941

I found this info some time ago on a web site that apparently no longer exists.
