Some audio questions

Hello all,

I'm new to audio, very new. I was looking into a new corolla, with 6 speakers. I want to replace the head unit so that I have an auxillary in. The unit I am thinking about is:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-dG3uUny...00&I=257KDG420

Anyone know if this will fit? Crutchfield says it will, but best buy doesn't. Also, does it matter if i have 4 or 6 speakers in thsi car, and if so, is this head unit good enough? Thanks in advace

Thumbs up

Hey, well first off if you buy the radio. your going to need the application kit which will make it fit because since the factory radio is a dual din u need the bottom part to be replaced as well. then you also need the harness adapter. but in the end it does fit you can fit any radio as long as you have the application kit, they sell them at any car audio store or best buy, pc richards, etc. its easy though so dont worry its all color coated after you buy the harness adapter... if you need any help let me know, since i do work at a car audio/performance shop.

You can get the single-din block off plates from toyota.

And as for the wiring harness, if your wires are intact from factory (which I assume they are), then you can just get ISO-connectors, probably you can get them from toyota too. Shouldnt cost that much.

anyhow good luck.
