Unhappy HELP 20v problems

after prtting in a speeds sensor made from 2 magnets connected to the drive shaft and a magnetic reed switch with the ecu side as the ground. when i drive it now theres now power when i add power between 2-4k. was running fine before i put it in.
ive disconnected it and theres still no power when i accelerate briskly between 2-4k.

how do i reset the ecu? i tried leaving it overnight with the power disconnected but didnt work

car is an ae92 with a blacktop 20v in it btw

whats the resistance of the HT lead from coil to dizzy? i was leaning on it pretty hard when i was making my speed sensor and im thinking i make have broken it.

cheers

Are you trying to use the original 20V sensor? Use the mechanical one from the AE92.

my ae92 was carby so didnt have an electronic speed sensor in the dash. i got the mechanical cable running from the gear box to dash and i got some magnets stuck on the drive shaft and a switch that ticks on when the magnets swing by which is connected to the ecu.

I don't recall seeing any AE92s that had electronic sensors, as far as I've seen, they started the electronic sensors with basically anything after 1992 I would assume.

The problems are unrelated. No speed signal to the ECU will trigger a CEL but won't actually do anything.
I disconnect my speedo on track days to avoid the 180 cut-out and the lap times don't change.

The hesitation problem is common on blacktops, what is you timing set to?, it is probably either detonation or a faulty knock sensor.

Yeah and check your lambda and see if all 4 wires are ok. I had same problem with my BT and turned out the lambda was broky. Yay.

mine is 8400, which is the facelift ECU, prefacelift should be 8200.

If not wired correctly they seem to cut at about 7600.
